Fear and Doubt in Mediumship and Your Everyday Life
Fear and Doubt in Mediumship
Fear and doubt in mediumship are two crucial things that you must learn to face and work with to prosper. But, we all know these limitations affect all of us in everyday life as well. Fear and doubt never really fully go away but there are ways to learn to push through them. Below are some tips on how to minimize fear and doubt the best you can.
Working on your own personal healing
The first thing you can do is just work on your own personal healing. In my mentorship courses, there is a reason I focus so much time and energy on the healing aspects. Once you identify your triggers and what you’re afraid of, you can make strides towards healing. What comes up through this process will assist you to move forward competently. As you work on your own healing, your vibration will become higher and your confidence will build.
Identify your triggers and what you’re afraid of
As a new medium, there were specific things that would go through my mind before I started with some of the things I was afraid of. I worried if I was going to be able to connect in the moment, if the sitter would be able to recognize the Spirit coming through for them and if I wouldn’t be able to connect with the person the sitter was hoping for.
Exercise: Try naming one thing you were terrified of that you faced and overcame, and it made you feel better and more confident to keep going.
Meditation and getting connected with yourself
During my bodybuilding career, the gym was (and still is) my meditation and helped me get over so many things that would have held me back in bodybuilding and mediumship. You should be giving yourself time to sit in meditation and understand your own energy. Meditating should be a regular practice. Work on building the understanding of your own energetic field so you know what it feels like in your body as you connect with others. That is when you’ll be able to define what is actually happening in your own body.
Give Spirit your time and attention
If you’re an aspiring person who wants to connect to the other side whether it be for your own personal development relationship or professionally, give Spirit your time. Giving Spirit your time and attention when you’re not in service to others helps you get to know your Spirit Guides and Spirit team. Write to them, talk to them, develop a relationship with them and understand how you all work together. Over time, you’ll just learn how to lean into your Spirit team and let them help you where you fall short.
