How do I find my Purpose and Passion?

Do you feel like you’re already living an amazing life but you know in your heart that you’re still meant to be doing something more?

If you don't know what that is, look at what lights you up.

What is it that you would do even if you weren't getting paid for it?

Or what do you love so much that you would pay to actually do it?

Whatever that is, that’s what you're meant to be doing.

Follow what it is that you love, and then have so much conviction in it that you choose to make it happen no matter what.

When to Take the Leap and Leave Your Day Job

You have to have your eye on the prize. It is a risk for sure. And there are no guarantees for anybody operating their own business. But you can't get there until you really take that jump.

A lot of people get really hung up on waiting until their business is successful to leave their day job or their other business. And you don't have to wait for that balance to happen before you take a plunge. It may not look like you're going to be making more on your side project before you switch.

Sometimes, you just have to leave energetically to allow yourself to get to that level of abundance.

It's like you have this cup of resources but you can't pour from an empty cup. And so, if you're using all these resources to fill up your day job, then you won’t have any left for your business. This is where people get tapped out because they give away all their magic, and then they have nothing left so their business can't take off.

And that becomes a loop.

Establishing a Growth Mindset as a New Business

We all can get comfortable living at a certain paycheck. But at the end of the day, you have to decide what the intrinsic reward is worth and how can you generate money by actually stepping into your power and your happiness.

Now, people want to start a brand new business and magically make a profit – but that's the 1% of new business owners. Not only do you have to be passionate about why you're there, but you also have to have your ass covered because you aren't necessarily going to make money immediately as a new business.

When you get yourself covered, you feel comfortable and safe. Then it won't have to feel so heavy, scary, or daunting in case you may not make a salary in your first year.
